The grass looks greener on the other side (short: green grass)

Dit schilderij viert de frisheid van het gras en de energie van het hier en nu. Het herinnert eraan dat het niet altijd groener is aan de overkant. Wat we hier hebben, is vaak al helemaal goed. Met zijn heldere, levendige tinten nodigt het uit tot dankbaarheid, aanwezigheid, gronding en een licht vleugje optimisme.

This painting captures a fresh, vibrant green that celebrates the beauty in the present. Inspired by the familiar saying, it reminds us that things aren’t always greener elsewhere. If we pause and look around, often what we already have is enough. Bright, lively, and full of energy, the work encourages a sense of appreciation, presence, and light-hearted optimism.
