Le Printemps
Acrylics and gold leaves on canvas - 40x40 cm (2021)
This painting, as the name suggests, is inspired by spring and the first rays of sun (printemps means spring in French). It represents the very first blossoming flowers, soft colours and golden hours. Maybe you will see a misty forest, a landscape full of flowers, a dusty window... That is up to you.
The old rose colours in combination with softened brown umber give it a delicate expression and an elegant feel. Using copper gold leaves as the finishing touch.
